A multifunction test bench for aeronautical equipment

Objective

During civil airplane exploitation numbers of equipment have to be grounded for maintenance operations, performances control, failure diagnostic, repairs, ... This often penalise aviation company because it creates unavailability of equipment thus increasing the exploitation cost. The aim of the research is to study a multifunction test bench for testing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment. This test bench will be used for aeronautical equipment and will include automatic control driven by software. The bench will allow: - to realised diagnostic, performances checks and quality control of various equipment involved in hydraulic, pneumatic and electric on a single test bench. It will allow thus to shorten ground unavailability delay. - to simplify the supervisor work with a computerised automation of the control task, - to increase the equipment reliability by a computerised treatment of the non conformity data. The innovative parts are the following: design of new measure equipment, design of software applications, study of the interfaces. These new development should be for interest for test bench manufacturers, software application firms and equipment manufacturers.
