High thermal conductivity thermoplastic compounds

Objective

The aim of the project is, "THE INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING IN EUROPE OF THERMOPLASTICS WITH INCLUSIONS AS THERMAL CONDUCTING COMPOUNDS". These materials still are not proposed in Europe. The industrial interest of these products is very high for several domains, mainly electrical or electrotechnical industry, electronic industry, automotive builders, heat exchangers, ... It is planned to give the preference to technical polymers to cumulate high perforrnances and reasonable prices, twice to four times basic matrix price. Research is required: * To adjust the surface properties and the interface between polymers and additives; * To study the influence of the processing conditions on the thermal and mechanical properties obtained at the laboratory scale. The project will take into account the interest of the different industrial sectors of users.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
