Objective
The scientific and technical objectives of this research proposal concern the identification of suitable materials, formulations and processing techniques to reduce the cost of using prepregs. Research is required to formulate resins and develop fabrics with a view to achieving a lower cost and low toxicity hot melt impregnation process which has low scrap yield but minimises cure times, consumable usage and labour for the end user.
