Objective
To design and construct of a PFBC with a net power of 76.4 MWe based on the asea technology. The aim is to transfer to Spain a high technology and to give the possibility to a Spanish boiler maker to demonstrate it. It will be possible to exploit and use the abundant resources of the high sulphur content subbituminous coal from Spain. The fluidized bed is located in a pressurized vessel 4 m height and the fluidized bed velocity is 0.9 m/s.
