Objective

Demonstration of a CHP system involving PFBC of low grade solid fuel fed as a slurry. The bed contains an air heater (vertical tubes to reduce erosion). A mixture of heated air and dedusted combustion gas drives an air compressor and a turbine to generate electricity, and then passes through a waste heat boiler. Dolomite is added to the bed for desulphurization.
