EFFICIENCY OF ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICES

Objective

The EATS project is concerned with Assistive Technology and Sservices (AT&S) and has three objectives. It aims to develop a methodology for comprehensive assessments of AT&S, including socio-economic impact, effectiveness, value for money, and user preferences. It aims to support decisions about AT &S and use field studies to provide information on costs and effectiveness; and to propose management strategies to help decision-making at various levels, including political and administrative levels, in organising AT&S provision. A framework to evaluate these will be provided. EATS continues the work of two components of the TIDE programme (Technology Initiative for Elderly and Disabled people): TIDE bridge phase study CERTAIN (Cost-Effective Rehabilitation Technology through Appropriate INdicators) and parts of the TIDE pilot phase study HEART Line D.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
