Networking between Venture Capitalists and Internet related Start-ups

Objective

The overall objective of the VENTURE project is to support the matching of innovative Internet related SMEs and start-ups with early stage risk capitalists.
To accomplish the above, Internet related entrepreneurs need to be qualified in selling their ideas towards early stage Ventures Capitalists (i.e. Business Angels, Seed Capital Funds, Venture Capital Funds). Equally, early stage Venture Capitalists need to be qualified to investing in Internet related SMEs and start-ups. Furthermore, forceful personalised and online networks are to be developed among the intermediaries involved with Internet related entrepreneurs, on the one hand, and the seed capital investors on the other hand.
An online brokerage service is to be established as a practical tool to optimise the European network co-operation. Finding investors will be made easier for the Internet related entrepreneurs through the development of strong and personally based online networks between the intermediaries. The partners in the project involve Business Angel associations, regional development centres and incubators centres in Denmark, Italy, Germany and Sweden.
