Objective
The new rail fastening principle DS ISO rail allows an optimal absorption of the vibrations. The system is based on the use of flexible supports with a high damping degree, alternated with fairly supports.
The system allows flexing of the rail with nodal points at the location of the stiff supports and maximum amplitude at the location of the flexible supports which contain heavy damping. This system ensures an excellent vibration isolation. It decreases the nearing of the rails as well as the emitted noise due to the wheel rail contact. The friction force rail/wheel is reduced and hence the energy consumption.
