Objective
Aim is to substantially reduce the energy consumption in the naphtaline washing system of coke gas.
Investment mainly consists of direct cooling with water spray system, refrigerated by sea water and following refrigeration unit hardware include pumps, heat exchangers, refrigerative unit, electric boards.
Innovative aspects concern the low temperature, direct water spray washing amonia which is recirculated by utilising existing facilities (patents pending) and saving anthracene oil and medium pressure steam for oil regeneration.
The demonstration plant is a 30000 Nm3/h coke gas washing unit.
