Objective
THE EXECUTIVE PROJECT HAS TO SHOW THE TECHNICAL AND ECONOMICAL VALIDITY OF RESTRUCTURING A 27 MW BUNKER OIL FIRED POWER STATION IN A OIL-CHARCOAL FIRED ONE USING BIOOIL AND OBTAINED THROUGH A PYROLYSIS PROCESS FROM THE FORESTAL WASTES OF THE ABRUZZO COPSES.
THE PROJECT WILL CONSIST OF THREE DIFFERENT SUBPROJECTS;EACH ONE WILL DETAIL TECHNICALLY AND ECONOMICALLY WITH CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS,OPERATING STEP AND TIME SCHEDULES HOW TO RESTRUCTURE THE EXISTING 27 MW BUNKER OIL FIRED POWER STATION OF AVEZZANO (ITALY).
THE THREE SUBPROJECTS WILL BE THE FOLLOWING ONES :
1. EXECUTIVE PROJECT TO GASIFY IN THE POWER STATION THE CHARCOAL OBTAINED FROM THE FORESTAL WASTES OF THE ABRUZZO COPSES;
2. EXECUTIVE PROJECT TO BURN CHARCOAL FROM THE SAME FORESTAL WASTES USING DUST BURNER.
3. EXCECUTIVE PROJECT TO BURN MIXTURES OF LIQUIDS, SLURRIES OR EMULSIONS OF COMBINED PRODUCTS (WATER-CHARCOAL, WATER-CHARCOAL-OIL (AS SLURRY), WATER-OIL, WATER-OIL-CHARCOAL (AS EMULSION), SLURRIES EMULSIONS COMBINATIONS
A PREVIOUS RESEARCH WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON THE ACTUAL STATE OF THE POWER STATION TO RECOGNIZE THE LIMITS, THE TECHNICAL AS WELL THE ECONOMICAL ONES, WHICH ARE POSED TO THE PROPOSED RESTRUCTURING, KEEPING CLEAR THAT THE POWER STATION IS 30 YEARS OLD AND THAT THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO OBTAIN A STRONG REDUCTION OF THE RUNNING COSTS OF THE POWER STATION, ONLY POSSIBLE IF WE LIMIT THE RESTRUCTURING WORKS OF THE POWER STATION AND WE PROFIT THE MAXIMUM OF THE LOW COSTS OF THE ENERGY PRODUCTS FROM BIOMASSES.
