Objective THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO CONTINUE THE TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT OF WORK PURSUED WITHIN ANGLO-DANISH BATTERY PROJECT. THE AIM IS TO DEVELOP A METHOD OF CONTINUOUS FABRICATION OF AN ELECTRODE/ELECTROLYTE SANDWICH FOR BATTERY MODULES WHICH ENABLES IMPROVEMENT ON PERFORMANCE ESSENTIAL FOR SCALE UP OF PRESENT LABORATORY CELLS. THESE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING NOVEL BIPOLAR MULTICELL DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AIMS AT A PROVISION OF GREATER INCENTIVE TO INDUSTRIAL ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATE IN A FUTUR SCALE-UP-PROGRAMME.
