- DEVELOPMENT OF THE SUPPLY MODEL EFOM-MARK II, VALORIZATION OF THE EXISTING TOOLS, ESPECIALLY MEDEE-SUD FOR THE LDC AND COORDINATION OF THE ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE MACROSECTORAL MODEL HERMES.

Objective

- THE EFOM MODEL IS THE MAIN MODEL IN EUROPE FOR ANALYSING THE ENERGY SUPPLY. ITS DEVELOPMENT IS NECESSARY FOR ANSWERING TO THE INCREASING COMPLEXITY OF THE ENERGY PROBLEMS,
- THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MEDEE-SUD MODEL FOR THE L.D.C. WILL PERMIT THESE COUNTRIES TO HAVE A COMMON WORKING STRUCTURE,
- FOR THE LINKAGE OF THE HERMES NATIONAL MODELS, THE TRADE BILATERAL FLOWS HAVE TO BE ESTIMATED.

- DEVELOPMENT OF THE SUPPLY MODEL EFOM-MARK 2,
- TRANSCRIPTION OF THE MEDEE MODEL ON A SOFTWARE, CORRESPONDING TO THE NEEDS OF THE USER COUNTRIES AND DIFFUSION OF THE MODEL IN L.D.C.
- COORDINATION OF THE HERMES MODELS "IMPLEMENTATION ON THE COMMISSION COMPUTER AND ESTIMATION OF THE BILATERAL FLOWS FOR THE NATIONAL MODELS" INTERCONNECTION.
