Objective
By introducing a new paraffinic fuel for compression engines, the present project will reduce all harmful emissions from compression engine vehicles, while providing significant economic, health, and social advantages. The non-toxic and biodegradable fuel, Bio-Paraffin, can be used in today's engines without modifications, is miscible with diesel, and can use existing distribution and infrastructure facilities. Bio-paraffin is produced from renewable raw materials, using new technology from the project partners, allowing very low emissions of carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides from the production.
