Objective
The purpose of the project is to integrate the Institute with the European Research Area and to create the Competence Centre for Hydrocarbon Resources and Fuels Research. The project consists in 13 work packages (WP), the 10 of which concern the problems of exploration of oil and gas, its production, drilling techniques, underground storage of natural gas, its transmission and distribution and effective and safe utilisation, as well as the environment protection in the entire oil and gas industry. The other three WP are dedicated to co-ordinate ion of tasks, promotion of the Centre and enhancing the role of Centre as a training and education body.
