Objective
The aim is to favour a broader integration of renewable energies in the market of energy systems, in accordance with the Eu Objective of doubling the share of renewable energies for the year 2010. Technical and non-technical problems (legal, economic, social, and environmental, etc.) for the integration of renewable energies into the grid will be analysed in the participating countries as well as success stories of renewable energies integration.
The experience of the pioneer Spanish region of Navarra, with 40% of electric energy consumption generated by renewable energies, will be shared. Best Technological and non-technological solutions for solving problems of integration of renewable energies into the grid system will be disseminated in the participating countries at large scale to potential operators of renewable energy parks (on wind, photovoltaic and biomass energies).
