Objective
TO STUDY THE IMPACT OF MODERN AGRICULTURE ON STRUCTURE, FUNCTIONING, DYNAMICS AND DEVELOPMENT OF ECOSYSTEMS.
THE RESEARCH IS BASED ON AN EXISTING PROJECT "LANDSCAPE MODEL RESEARCH PROJECT IN THE REGION OF INGOLSTADT" (BAVARIA).
BY USING A BROAD EXISTING DATA BASE ON RURAL LANDUSE AND BIOTIC AND ABIOTIC RESOURCES, SPECIAL RESEARCH ON STATISTICAL SELECTED AREAS SHOULD BE DONE TO GAIN QUANTITATIVE RESULTS ON THE IMPACT OF AGRICULTURAL LANDUSE ON THE NATURAL RESOURCES.THE RESULTS OF THE FIELD-WORK ARE COMPARED WITH THE DATA WHICH ARE GAINED FOR THE INGOLSTADT-PROJECT IN A MORE EXTENSIVE WAY. THE GOAL OF THIS FEED-BACK AND COMPARISON IS TO GET PRACTICABLE ASSESSMENT METHODS IN FORM OF INDICATORS FOR MOST EXISTING OR EASY-TO-GET DATA FOR REGIONAL DECISION PURPOSES.
