Objective
THE RESEARCH WORK WILL COMPRISE :
- THE STUDY OF THE EVOLUTION OF DROUGHT AND WATER SURPLUSES OVER THE PERIOD OF THE PAST CENTURY OVER CENTRAL-, W- AND S-EUROPE, AND LATER ON THE STUDY WILL BE EXTENDED TO N-EUROPE.
- THE COMPARISON OF THE SEQUENCE OF FLUCTUATIONS OVER THE DIFFERENT REGIONS OVER EUROPE IN ORDER TO DETERMINE REGIONS WITH QUITE SIMILAR RESPONSES TO SPECIFIC METEOROLOGICAL CIRCULATIONS.
TELECONNECTIONS CAN BE DETERMINED AT THAT TIME.
- THE ELABORATION OF CURRENT MONTHLY DRYNESS OR HUMIDITY TO BE PUBLISHED IN A REGULAR MONTHLY BULLETIN. TO ACHIEVE THIS PURPOSE, THE MOST OBVIOUS AND ACCURATE MODEL HAS TO BE PERFORMED TO DETERMINE METEOROLOGICAL DROUGHT FOR EACH MONTH OVER EUROPE.
