Objetivo The present project falls under the heading "clean sugar production" and is aimed at the implementation of clean technolgies in order to reduce dangerous emissions to the atmosphere.It is planned to reduce significantly the consumption of fossil fuel and by that the emissions of e.g. CO2, NOx and SOx. The new clean technology will concentrate in particular on the process step "crystallization".Furthermore, it will optimize the management of other process steps by using a 2 step procedure controlling the energy fluxes. The integration of this new technology and the control of the fluxes in "clean schemes" will optimize the results and facilitate their application to other European areas.
