Iv international conference on forest fire research / 2002 wildland fire safety summit

Objective

This application refers to the organisation of the following events:
- The IV International Conference on Forest Fire Research (ICFFR) and the 2002 edition of the Wildland Fire Safety Summit ( from 18 to 21 November) . The ICFFR has a periodicity of four years and began in 1990. The Safety Summit will be held for the first time in Europe .
- A Post Conference Tour (21-22 November) to visit areas of interest in the context of forest fires research in Central Portugal.
- A Specialized Course on Fire Safety (16 November) oriented to scientists and managers.
- The 4th. Specialized Course on Forest Fire Behaviour (23-24 November) oriented to researchers and end users.
