Objective
The training of the doctoral students will be focused on 1. Lear multi-platform instrumental techniques. 2. Design and conduct own experiments. 3. Meet the research groups currently active on Scabbard. 4. Participate in large scale campaigns. 5. Hands on experience with imaging spectroscopy. Plan and execute and an airborne campaign to study reflective properties of ground targets. Validate corresponding satellite data. 6. Develop a better understanding of the complexity of the atmosphere as a dynamic system with large variety of processes going on inside each layer as well as interactions between them. 7. Socialise and work with a multicultural group of graduate students and professors, learning to live and work under extreme climate conditions.
