Control system implementation at the iasa microton

Objective

It is proposed that the applicant undertakes the implementation of the Control System of the 100KeV injector line for the Racetrack Microtron (RTM) at the Institute of Accelerating Systems and Applications (IASA). Emphasis is given to the successful importation/adaptation of the EPICS Control System and the related software development in this environment. This project will also serve as a pilot study to help define the detailed architecture for the entire control system for the RTM. Its links with industry and with other Community programmes are well defined.
