Objective
The project aims at the creation of a legal advice system on legal aspects of EDI. The JURICAS advice system shell will be used therefore. The project will include issues such as:
an horizontal description and analysis of all EDI agreements, types and the ways to draft them, a vertical analysis of the issues which are usually included in EDI agreements, a proposal of alternatives to interchange agreements, it will allow users (SMEs), to draft their own interchange agreements, it will propose ways for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in an EDI environment, it will provide a survey of national and international efforts for the regulation of EDI. The project aims to offer a high level of information and direct accessibility to the users. For increased user friendliness it will feature :
a hypertext facility, document generation, a user interface (for EDI users, network provider), a subject interface.
