Research objectives and content
ELECTRONIC DATA INTERCHANGE (EDI) IS MORE AND MORE USED BY TRADING PARTNERS AS A MEANS OF COMMUNICATION. WHERE TRADING PARTNERS USE EDI A NUMBER OF LEGAL QUESTIONS ARISE. THE RESEARCH PROJECT WILL EXAMINE SOME OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES IN THE CONTEXT OF EDI. THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO EXAMINE THOSE ISSUES FROM A LEGAL POINT OF VIEW AS WELL AS TO CONSIDER HOW EXISTING PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED FOR THE BENEFIT OF EDI USERS. THE POSSIBILITY TO USE A GREAT NUMBER OF SPECIALISED DOCUMENTATION WHICH IS AVAILABLE AT THE DOCUMENTATION CENTRE OF THE INSTITUTE (CRID-FUNDP). THE POSSIBILITY TO DISCUSS EDIC SPECIFIC ISSUES WITH THE RESEARCHERS INVOLVED AT CRID.
