Miniaturisation network for cross fertilisation between all european miniaturisation projects

Objective

MININET is proposed in order to provide a link between all publically funded European miniaturisation projects. Over 1000 projects have been identified funded by the EC or by trans-national, national or regional agencies. By establishing a single focal point for microsystems projects across Europe, MININET will improve cross fertilisation between projects. It will also provide a fuller and more comprehensive overview to guide the development of future projects and programmes. MININET will set up an internet database containing all European miniaturisation projects 'main features and results) / Establish a moderated chat room forum on the MININET web site / develop information pages containing major surveys / Organise thematic workshops in coordination with other microsystem networks / Offer in-depth project analysis to MININET members.
