High - tech textile coc

Objective

The CoC will constitute scientific backup for the European textile industry in the range of advanced textile technologies and designing innovative special textile structures with specific properties. The undertaken actions will support further development of the IAT as a world-recognised scientific institute conducting research in the field of special advanced textiles. Carrying out the project will increase the engagement of IAT in European research programmes aimed at innovative products, processes and organisation as well as efficient technologies. The fulfilment of the above purposes will mainly consist in organising meetings, training courses with the participation of EU specialists and exchanging experience between the IAT and important European institutes with recognised output in the area of textile engineering as well as creating a network of links between the IAT and the leading research centres in Europe .
