Centre of excellence for advanced mechanical systems - getting european dimension

Objective

CoE for Advanced Mechanical Systems answers 5FPGrowth KA1TRA1.3 eco-efficient processing and design. The R&D activities involve virtual designing, making prototypes, man-machine interactions, and environmental impacts. The objectives of the proposal are to strengthen the CoE enabling to develop scientific and technical excellence, to integrate with ERA, to transform the potential towards advanced technologies and environmentally friendly systems. They will be achieved by a realization of a research programme, twinning activities with EU R&D organizations, networking on the national, NAS, NIS and EU levels, harmonization of standards and design rules, industry trainings, exchange of researchers, excelling of management activities, conferences and dissemination of results. These activities will contribute towards solving the problem of the industry modernization, adaptation of new challenges, quality development, minimization of use of natural resources and smoothing the integration into ERA.
