Objective
The LITHO-PRO project aims on new manufacturing equipment for customer oriented production of technical ceramics and natural stone. The RTD tasks target on manufacturing of complex products with individual shape, material properties and production features. The expected results will demonstrate procedures, methodologies and technologies for clean, efficient and intelligent manufacturing and production. A mutual technology transfer between the application sectors of ceramics and natural stone will provide a cross-fertilisation of expertise, ensuring an added value and thus strengthen the economic prospective of the consortium members and contribute substantially to an European sustainable growth. The consortium members provide excellent knowledge and RTD facilities, combining big industrialists, innovative SME's and research institutions. A thorough and concise exploitation strategy is foreseen.
