Minimum cost, minimum size, maximum benefit, condition monitoring system

Objective

The project aims to bring efficient monitoring and maintenance to small installations and machinery by reducing cost and enhancing functionality. The project integrates actual service data into a remote maintenance management system, giving more cost-effective maintenance and repair technologies. Project research focuses on the safe extension of life and optimal use of every day machinery (such as elevators, machine tools etc). The project will develop a flexible, easy-to-use condition monitoring system which is more accessible to small/medium enterprises; to enhance reliability of monitoring systems with low level of false alarms; to extend system operation time; to reduce maintenance costs; to develop a new condition monitoring and maintenance management scheme strategy for remote monitoring
