Objective
The project "Uni-Print & Cut" deals with the total integrated production process of printed textiles and related options. The printing process will be controlled by a real time fabrics defect recognition system for optimal nesting of pieces to be printed including cutting, unloading and packaging.
The printing process will be universal for a wide range of fabrics only printing useable parts defined by individual customer data from body analysis, styling and nesting information in the shop. Polymer colorants in combination with cross linker chemistry and digital ink jet printing technology will reduce waste towards zero without compromising the quality standards. The total process and its speed will make it possible to address the individual customer needs and will emphasize the need for "on demand" production and reasonable delivery time (3-5 days after ordering).
