New safe and cost effective techniques against asbestos risk in build and industrial infrastructures

Objective

Facing the new need of infrastructure upgrading, decommissioning and rehabilitations, many building owners are confronted with the asbestos risk. Current techniques are expensive and not safe enough for workers health and large works.

The aim of the project is then to develop safe techniques for asbestos abatement works providing:
- a significant decrease of asbestos removing costs (-25%);
- a better protection of the employees of this activity;
- a better prevention of pollution risk during the works;
- a better and safe management of ACM wastes.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)
