Objective
The mobile market in Europe has been and will continue to be a growing sector, with average growth in terms of value around 20% and penetration rates up from 36% in August 1999 to 55% in August 2000. This also means a strongly increased need for development of the infrastructure, i.e. Antennas, within the next 5-10 years. The ISPCON proposal has a five-fold aim tied together by the desire to develop a complete and an integrated product service system for 3rd, generation mobile communication. The five parts consist of different types of antenna towers to suit different environments, a completely integrated IT system, and finally the development of product services to complement and support the products.
