Coordination of advanced creep activities to improve safety and durability of high temperature plant materials

Objective

Network activity will focus on the harmonisation of the output and activities of European (EC and non-EC funded) projects dealing with the generation, collation, and assessment of creep straw and ductility data produced using conventional specimen and model component/feature tests. This activity will also include projects dealing with multi-axial creep, creep crack initiation and properties for post service exposed materials. The objective of this work is to establish European procedures and methodologies for the harmonisation of terms and terminology, and data generation, exchange and analysis practices across the national boundaries with a view to enhancing the effectiveness and impact of European projects. Gaps will also be identified which should lead to the identification of future research areas.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
