Objective
The network will bring together industrial and academic partners with proven experience in the development of methodologies and tools to support Extended Enterprises. The network will integrate and build upon this expertise through workshops, conferences and modern methods of dissemination and knowledge transfer including web-based. New topics and projects will be added to the network, which will have the responsibility of integrating the many ideas into a thoroughly holistic approach. The network will facilitate important interfaces: between industry and the European Commission, between research and implementation and between the harder technological developments and business and organisational issues. The 4 workshops and 2 international conferences will focus the work of the network, producing documents on the Extended Enterprise for wide dissemination.
