ECO-efficient LIFE cycle technologies. From products to service systems

Objective

ECOLIFE II will focus on the product-service life cycle of electr(on)ic products, and involve key players in the electronics and automotive industries in all of the various stages of the product-service life cycle -from component suppliers and product manufacturers, to service and logistic suppliers and the end-of-life processors. The main activities of the Network will focus on the environmental and economic aspects of product design, functional innovation and service-system innovation. ECOLIFE II has 30 partners (20 companies and 10 research organisations). They play leading roles in, European and national branch organisations, international standardisation bodies as well as other networks the value of these connections will be of major importance for transferring the best practice results of ECOLIFE II to large numbers of SMEs and other relevant bodies.
