Objective
The main objective of the project is to set-up a pilot production line for the manufacturing of fully tested ceramic hollow fibre membrane systems for the filtration of beer and wine. Filtration by means of ceramic (micro filtration)membranes is expected to be a good substitute for current separation steps in beer and wine filtration. The project consists of the following steps:- Preliminary manufacturing and testing of ceramic hollow fibre membranes- Manufacturing and testing of small-scale membrane modules- Techno-economical evaluation and definition of production line- Setting-up of pilot production line for ceramic membrane and modules- Piloted plant set-up and testing
