Objective
The proposal addresses the problem of the discolouration and soiling of leather upholstery. The aim is to improve the resistance of upholstery leather to soiling and discolouration. The objectives are to:
( I ) Correlate soiling and discolouration with finish type and formulation.
( ii ) Develop a complete set of test methods to predict the problem.
( iii ) Produce finish formulations that have a good resistance to soiling and discolouration.
