Advanced design tool for electrical insulating components

Objective


At the present stage project activities have been finished, and the project outcomes are available i.e.:
-design models on the basis of SME's design requirements through a friendly interface easy to be used: "The Adetec interface" for Medium Voltage Joint, Terminations and Insulators based on heat shrinkable, cold shrinkable or composite epoxy materials;
-Static and time harmonic analysis modules for the simulations of the electrical field in a stationary environment , with the input of both permettivity and resistivity of the composite materials;
-Transient analysis for the simulations of the electrical field in a ramp type electrical field taking into consideration even possible non linearity of epsilon and sigma;
-Validation of the results through electrical tests performed on the first projects available in Kema and c/o the H.V. laboratory from Tesi srl.
