Objective
This project consists of SME's and research organisations from the EU and from Central Europe engaged in co-operative research that will benefit industries such as coal, steel, non-ferrous metals and cement. Industry has a major problem of airborne pollution, both in the working environment and in the air expelled to atmosphere. The project research task is ambitious, but a successful conclusion will deliver improved working conditions and living environment for Europe's citizens. It will also improve the competitiveness of European industry through reducing the costs to industry from filtration and delivering a world class product competing in world markets. This project benefits from the contacts provided under the FP5 INCO project THNAPFP, and in proposal preparation from the resources assembled for the FP5 IPSAM , STRAD.
