Tunnelbased washing machine for large printing mashine

Objective

This project will result in a new generation of tunnel-washing machine for the printing industry. The machine will be able to wash of synthetic ink on all removable parts from the printing machine, only using degradable cleaning liquids. Mechanical development of a closed washing tunnel, wherein the parts to be washed moving through different washing chambers, based on combining know how from other sectors and machines. Tunnel Wash will be able to move, turn around hold the parts at the same time as it is washing them all over - outside and inside - andrecirculating liquids. Development of more efficiently environmentally friendly cleaning liquids with high efficiency on synthetic ink, will be based on several years experience in the field, combined with available experience from other laboratories and/or chemical institutes. The goal is to substitute hazard fluids, e.g. Methyl Ethyl chlorides or Tetra Chloride Carbonate, with degradable fluids e.g. soda or oil based liquids.
