Objective
The purpose of the project is the realisation of an innovative system made of intelligent and modular electronic boards to improve the automation and control of industrial plants and domestic appliances. The new system will be characterised by its low cost, easy installation and modularity and versatility in the applications, from home to industrial automation. Intelligent electronic modules will be developed, communicating through an innovative configuration and management language, called SQAL (Structured Query and Actuation Language) . A new communication technology named Local Wire Net (LWN) will be developed and used to connect the intelligent modules, configure them and Share data, exploiting the local electric grid, featuring higher bandwidth along an electric wire.
