Centre of excellence of advanced spectroscopy applications in physics, materials science, biology and environmental protection

Objective

The Centre of Excellence in the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences devoted to applications of advanced spectroscopy in physics, materials science, biology and environmental protection is proposed. The main objective of the Centre is investigation of novel materials, atomic and molecular species, clusters, chaotic systems, and biological samples using advanced spectroscopic methods such as optical, microwave, X-ray and Laplace spectroscopy. The Centre aims to strengthen international collaboration by organisation of international conferences (e.g. Workshop on Structure and Function of Bio molecules, Workshop on Advanced Spectroscopy of Novel Materials) and by exchange of scientists and Ph.D. students with other European centres. The Centre is engaged in education in physics (via the Cardinal S. Wyszynski University and organisation of International Schools) and popularisation of physics.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
