Objective
PHIFE aims to build a transportable-pulsed holographic system for the measurement of fast and transient events in both solid and fluid mechanics. This is of major importance in the improvement of quality in varied industrial sectors: better airplane modelling for track and consumption reduction, reduction of vibration and noises in automotive and consumer apparatus industries for increasing products lifetime and users comfort. Such a single holographic device does not exist that is able to cover such application range in industrial environment. In PHIFE, R&D will cover the ensemble of elements of such device. Advanced dynamic and fast holographic techniques will be studied. Innovative fast lasers will be developed and associated to high performances holographic head. Industrial prototypes will be built and used on industrial study cases.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
