Objective
The present time is characterized by efforts to increase the effectiveness of all operations, reduce losses and mitigate the impact of human activity on the environment. The first precondition for the control of processes aiming to achieve the above-mentioned goals is a precise measurement of physical values. The measurement uses a number of principles, of which the ultrasonic method has appeared the most promising one in recent years. The application of new findings in the field of digital methods of signal processing, mathematics, physics and formation science provides a basis for improving the technical parameters of ultra sonic flow meters. The aim of the intended project is to develop a new generation of ultrasonic flow meters, the application of which will enable a more precise measurement thanks to superior parameters, therefore saving media (liquid and gas) and energies. It will be possible to use the results of the project for the development of EU standards.
