Interpretation and implementation of the new standard iso 17025 by national metrology institutes in europe

Objective

The thematic network will support essential measurement and quality management infrastructure networking within the EU, which will significantly improve cohesion within the EU and accession countries on how National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) should implement ISO 17025 as part of their quality systems. It will also provide support to the implementation of the International Committee for Weights and Measures' (CIPM) mutual recognition arrangement (MRA) "Mutual recognition of national measurement standards and of calibration and measurement certificates issued by national metrology institutes".
