Objective
Microencapsulation aims to include active components in microspheres. The number of microencapsulation technologies is very extensive, making it difficult to select the proper process for a specific product. Fifteen partners coming from 9 countries will start the European V.I. but the partnership will be extended to 30 to 40 members plus a large number of associated researchers. The V.I. will act as a communication platform, central information system, expert moderator and unique portal for the microencapsulation field. The V.I. will provide information survey, training, consulting and collaborative project management. All this actions will help entrepreneurs to select the right process and to find the most appropriate partners, and then to succeed, in the optimum conditions, a microencapsulation business.
