Objective
Based on a pan-European Red Cross working group, RECOVER will provide national Red Cross societies with a telematics application to support resources and information management during each phase of a disaster. The project will facilitate the information exchange and interaction essential to national or international management coordination, as well as the efficient data gathering, storage and analysis needed to evaluate disasters. It is expected to result in a validated demonstration, together with guidelines for operational, administrative, legal and data handling aspects, and proposals for system implementation.
