Objective
The topic of the event is Mathematical Logic. It concentrates mainly on three areas: Algebraic Logic, Model Theory and Set Theory, although it encompasses all areas in the field, including Proof Theory, Recursion Theory, Computational Logic and Complexity Theory, as well as their applications to other areas of Mathematics and Computer Science.
It will be a three-day international conference at the highest scientific level, with the following aims:
- To offer leading experts in the field a suitable place for announcing their latest research results to a broader audience;
- To help bridge the gaps between several distinct, although closely related, areas in Mathematical Logic, through survey talks by renowed speakers;
- To provide young logicians with an opportunity for presenting their results to leading researchers in their respective fields, and for interacting with them through informal discussions.
The scientific program of the meeting will consist on:
- 8 invited lectures;
- 30 short communications;
- 2 informal discussion sessions open to all participants. The conference will be a satellite activity of the 3rd European Congress of Mathematics, which will not only increase the participation of mathematicians from other related areas, but it will also secure the presence of Mathematical Logic in the whole series of events organized around the 3ECM.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
