Objective
The aim of the proposal is to organise Euro-conferences in 2000 and 2002 covering the scientific topic of modern analytical methods for food and beverage authentication and for quality testing. These events should be considered as a continuation of international conferences organised in Lednice in 1995 and 1997 with similar topics.
The aim of the conferences suggested is the presentation of new analytical methods used in food and authenticity control. The focus will be on modern analytical methods (NMR, MS, IR, LC, GC, PCR, etc) accompanied by classical analytical procedures used in authentication of foods. The first conference should be considered as a satellite to the 5th Symposium on Food Authenticity organised in La Baule, France june 9-11, 1999. The duration of conferences in Lednice will be 3 days. There is expected to be the following research areas.
