5th European Conference on Application of Polar Dielectrics

Objective

The objective of the "5th European Conference on Application of Polar Dielectrics" is to facilitate the exchange of scientific information of device oriented physical and chemical. The objective of the "5th European Conference on Application of Polar Dielectrics" is to facilitate the exchange of scientific information of device oriented physical and chemical properties of polar dielectric materials and to promote further technological development and application of the materials. The Conference covers multidisciplinary subjects: physics, chemistry, engineering, economics and its topic is of industrial interest.

Compared to previous ECAPD meetings, special emphasis will paid to: 1) broader discussion of the problems of commercial application of polar dielectrics, 2) inviting the leading scientists working at the cutting edge of the scientific and technological development and thus providing the young researchers with the top level knowledge and experience, 3) promoting the east-west cooperation by a small registration fee and non-expensive accommodation so that more participants could come from the Associated States and the States of the former USSR; creating the framework for network of researchers, active outside the Member States and Associated States, 4) participation of possibly higher number of young researchers and engineers, 5) broad dissemination of the results of the Conference.
