Objective

Combinatorics is without any doubt the branch of Mathematics that has expanded most in the past few years. This expansion is due both to the formidable development of computers and to a growing demand on discrete mathematics for modelling purposes coming either from other academic sciences (biology, physics or chemistry) or from engineering applications. In all these contexts, Graph Theory appears as a basic tool.
